4:30 disagree about bjj being good for health. doing bjj for years you'll very likely accumulate a lot of permanent wear and tear and injuries. Bad for your joints, ligaments , ankles, toes, fingers, neck, shoulder. even worse if you compete and if you start in your late 20s or 30s. You'll have better health long term than an inactive person , but general fitness enthusiasts who focus on cardio and weights and stability will have much better health and stronger bodies than bjj people. The proof is just going to a bjj gym and looking at how the guys there in their late 40s who have been doing it for more than 10 years move. they have much less agility than a regular fitness enthusiast of the same age.
